I'm a 3-rail guy but due to limited space in my living room I want to have a small 0n30 Christman Garden. I plan on having a point-to-point Bachmann Christmas Trolley and this Christmas set.
What is the minimum radius for this loco? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

wild mary, I think you will be able to use 18" at a minimen. If you are getting a new set, there shoud be a package of track in the set.

Thanks Al. I was hoping I could get away with 18".
The only engine I own that needs a little more than 18" is the Bachmann outside frame 2-8-0 Consolidation. It's rated at 22" radius, although it takes my 20" curves OK.

Some time ago someone posted on the Forum a .pdf file listing recommended and absolute minimum radii for On30 equipment. The Bachmann 2-6-0 and the passenger cars use 24" as the recommended radius and 12" as the absolutely positively minimum radius.
