Does anyone know whether the Model Tech Studios O Gauge figures are 1:43, 1:48 or 1:50? Are they the same size as the Arttista figures? I believe those are 1:48. Thanks.

The ones I have are pretty close to the Preiser (1:50) and Woodland Scenics figures. The Arttista's I have appear to be just a little shorter.
Thanks. This is helpful.

Has anyone ordered from Model Tech Studios? Any problems or issues?
I have ordered from Model Tech Studios. No issues, just fast shipping and quick service.

Thanks for the info!
I had contacted James looking for information and plans for the
Point of Rocks station, which Model Tech Studios did a limited production
HO kit of around 2005/2006. Very quick to respond and eager to help with the project.
I have also ordered detail parts, which are high quality and the service was
excellent.
The figures are Ok although expensive (almost 2X) compared to Arttista which in my opinion are the best in the hobby. I would say they work well in terms of scale with others manufacturers. They are probably a little larger than Arttista but, not so oversized that you can't have them in proximity. Service is good, shipment is fast. They have a lot of unique things through their inventory. If you build one of their structures, you probably should have experience with structure building as the instructions often rely on visuals and diagrams, not sequential verbiage. So, it's not like you follow along by the numbers. That said, they're some of the most unique structures around as are the figures.
Thanks to all who responded.
I am putting an order together and never used them before.
AWESOME products!
Figures are good and they have great selection of accessories.
Good people to do business with.

Interesting responses. The company has some interesting poses and "character" figures that suggest a lot of fun uses and dioramas. But on their website, the figures each seem to have something that is a little out of proportion or a bit "off". For example, a foot or hand might appear too large. Or the head is chunky and unfinished looking.
So, I've held off from any purchases. I don't see those issues with the Arttista figures. Maybe it's just close-up camera angles or that I'm too nit picky? On the other hand, their various accessories look great as has already been mentioned.

No question that the Arttista figures are terrific. Dennis does an outstanding job. However, after pretty much tapping those out, I decided to try the Model Tech Studios figures. I started with a couple to see how they looked. When I saw how great they were, I ordered some more. Now I am about to order more still. They are about the same size of the Arttista figures - they could be a smidge larger - but no way you would notice that on a layout. The Model Tech Studios staff are are also great people - no issues. I would say unequivocally, buy with confidence!
