MTH has said they`re working on a 2-RAIL Starter Set with a German Steam Engine and Freight Cars for BUSCH in Germany.. I wonder if MTH is considering making a 2-RAIL REAL-TRAX System for O-Gauge or maybe even One-Gauge REAL-TRAX ? With the large interest in Europe in 2-RAIL O-Gauge, I`ve heard that it`s half the market over there, and MTH expanding their Products in that area; I would like to find out from those that read this how many would be interested in a 2-RAIL REAL-TRAX System ?

If it's what I think it is, it's Peco European O scale track. That said, though, an additional source of O scale sectional track compatible with North American sized equipment would be a good thing.
If I understand your question correctly, MTH has already announced and cataloged a few pieces for their 2 rail O scale real-trax system (code 123?). Right now the curves are very sharp and the tie spacing is European. Hopefully Atlas O (code 148) will release more pieces soon, I know they are working on it. In addition Lenz has a very nice but expensive O Scale code 148 track system that interchanges with Atlas with only very slightly larger ties.
I have the Lenz double slip switch on my Atlas track layout and it's great.
Peco UK has code 148 flat bottom flex and turnouts and more pieces with British Bull head rail.

I think I mis-identified the brand. J2M's mentioning Lenz jogged a memory. I'm not sure what curve sizes are being offered. I don't think it will be on roadbed like the 3-rail RealTrax
Hi guys,
MTH is making 2-rail O scale ScaleTrax, not RealTrax. It does not have a molded roadbed. The track uses code 148 rail (catalog said code 128, but I believe this was a typo) and matches the Lenz track for tie size and spacing. Like the Lenz track, the ties and spacing are based on 1:43.5 scale rather than 1:48. It will mate with both Lenz and Atlas 2-rail track. I handled a couple production samples when I was back at MTH recently and the build quality looked to be quite good. They are making 36" and 22" radius curves.

Has there been any word on pricing and section availability?
I had heard about 17" straights:

I saw this 30":

Hoping for some good switches too
Can't believe I missed those in the catalog. I must have been asleep at the switch. With the planned pricing, I think I'll order a loop to play around with.
What I was thinking is that with MTH moving into European Starter Sets that are 2-RAIL that they maybe considering making a REAL-TRAX Track System with Plastic Roadbed for those Sets and 2-RAIL RAILKING besides their present plans for a 2-RAIL SCALE-TRAX System..
