The front pantograph works fine.  The rear unit was slightly damaged by original owner.  Although both pantographs work OK in front.  The damage mentioned was due to a crossover and apparantly it damaged the inside of the pant motor.  We changed the O ring to be certain it wasn't a culprit.  As you may know, there is a cord (or strap of a sort) which allows the 'string' to be inserted into the slot of the tangs to be effective.  However, the rear pant will only allow itself to be higher than 'the normal front pant.  We've chased this every which way but loose and customer is willing to ship it to someone with your credentials.    We used the word string which isn't a good nomenclature.  Each motor has the same 'cord' or string' which sits in a round slot.  All else is OK - but the string(s) on the rail are unable to pull down the entire pant.  Thanks to all concerned; don't hesitate to call back.
