I have my Legacy base connected to one of three ZW transformers which are all in phase. Transformer #1 powers loops 1 and 2, transformer #2 will power loops #3 and four. I recently purchased the DCS TIU and Remote Controller and connected it to the Legacy base. My question is that sufficient to have DCS power all four loops on do I have to add more TIU's.  I appreciate any assistance provided. Thanks.

Tony,

As usual Guns is giving real good advise.  Especially about the safety of the TIU, I use the 10 Amp Scott type breakers between my transformers and the DCS TIU. I ask the same question as Guns, how much track do you have on your layout loops, I ran my fair sized multi level DCS layout with just one TIU, it was properly wired with

stranded 12 gauge wire and had magic lights where needed.

Each of the three loops is approximately 16' by 10'. I have a small station area off of the third loop and also a yard with two tracks that have several coal accessories on them. At the Allentown show I talked with several individuals who suggested the TIU should be independent of the Legacy system and the center rail of each loop needs to be connected to the TIU (I have not done that).

As for protection I have circuit breakers and fuses between the transformer and the tracks. I will attempt to draw this out.

As always thanks for your help.
