I'm having a problem with my MTH DCS Remote. It won't add new engines on the screen. I tried just about everything I can think of. Ran it threw the System mode in add new engine. I cleaned the tracks. I hooked up a 3' test track. Played with it all day. Was able to load it once--then I lost it. Reloaded it again. Now it want load at all. I was able to load it on the 3' test track once. Then after that I lost it again. Could I have a faulty remote??? (Put new batteries in it also.)

have you connected a 4 wire phone cord between it and the TIU (tether)?
How did you lose it? delete the engine by accident?
What is the remote doing exactly? Power at the rails? TIU light on? etc...
if the engine is already in the remote it won't add it again. Are you deleting it first and then re-adding?
I accidentally hit the remote delete. There is 18 volts of power on the track & the test track. I put a searchlight car on the test track and it's very bright. I push the "green" Engine button on the remote and there is nothing showing on the screen. Like I said, it programmed on the test track but then I lost all (3) of them. I tried numerous times to redo it on the test track. But nothing.
The DCS guys spend most of their time on that section. Try over there, you will probably get help quicker that way.
Good luck! Oh yea have you checked your remote batteries?
Put new ones in it.
