I just watched it.  Here's the cliff's notes version:

- New catalog will still be released in April as usual

- While there is some product in transit and in their warehouse, expect delays

- It sounds like their repair techs are shutdown so expect delays on repairs

I'm happy to hear the new catalog will be coming out.  Around the 15:45 mark, Rich says it may not ship during York week (when York would've been).  But Andy jumped in to say that it will ship to subscribers at the same time it usually does.

Just got done watching it and I'm not on Facebook...

One thing everyone has seemed to miss so far is the Governor of Maryland has just ordered non-essential business to close, so MTH is temporarily shutting down after today.

Overall, there was a fair amount of information presented (even about S Scale,) and unlike Lionel the banter was minimal.  There were also at least two cameras and the ability to embed product videos, rather than just waving things around.

Things may not have transitioned smoothly, but I expect this program was put together quickly due to the pending shutdown.

We have the same issue, yet it is amazing how many businesses were granted "Essential" waivers and are operating as if nothing has happened. The evening news had an interview with the wife of a construction worker who didn't feel an office building her husband was at to be essential at all.

Have Lionel returns boxed on the table because I was afraid this might happen and did not want them sitting who knows where for 4 months.

I would hope to think that the MRR industry is headed toward a new transition to stay in business. New 3d tooled models, lower pricing. Companies and some traditions can’t sustain as they were in today’s constantly changing world. From the low energy and nonchalant video, it appeared that retirement may more of a priority than attending another long trade show.

Seems they're not overjoyed going to York twice a year, not they have to plan for it this year, just as Lionel has opted out of the April meet; won't be surprised to see them follow the Lionel example after what they said.

I've asked directly and was told only one person at MTH surprisingly wants MTH to be at York and that's Mike Wolf.

Hasn't Mike always been the guy who is knee deep in the hobby(or more than knee deep) to keep in touch with the customers and see what is going on? Whenever I watch any of the videos I have seen him in he is always giving it his all to bring whatever to wherever. I wouldn't imagine he would just come to York once a year.

Yet he was one of the first to threaten not to come back in the day when the manufacturers were pressuring the EDTCA to open to the public.
