@ JR JUNCTION- Does this latest batch have working smoke units as shown in your photo? I recall the previous release in the MTH catalog showed a working smoke unit on the 44 Ton engine which was not the case.

I have an MTH Southern 44 ton engine and it has no smoke.  What is the deal on your add showing a 44 ton engine with a smoke unit?

No way smoke will ever fit in the 44 ton switcher.

Sorry for the confusion.  As you can see we made this initial post nine months ago on October 19, 2016.  At that time, all indications showed a smoke unit feature on the yet-to-be-released MTH Premier 44 ton diesel locomotive.  I have deleted the photograph to update the change in features from 9 months ago.

Topic at-hand......We still have some of these left at our fantastic pricing!

This was discussed in previous posts on the first release. It was clear the 44 tonner had no smoke unit. However, the very remote possibility of MTH making one fit and seeing an advertisement photo of a smoking 44 tonner may lead people to believe it has one. In my opinion the pictures of a working smoke unit should be removed if the model is not so equipped.
