I'm going to be getting a MTH passenger station that I will be custom detailing. Among repainting and doing outside details, I want to add a floor and add rooms to each story of the station. What should I use for the floor? I thought about using styrene but I can't find one sheet that's big enough. The station I'd use is here: http://mthtrains.com/30-90094 I'm only getting the station part not the platforms as I already have them.

That's a great idea! You did a great job, I'll probably use that.
Only downside is I can't seem to find a sheet that's wide enough. I need a sheet that's at least 13 1/2" wide.

It doesn't have to be a single piece. You can hide seams perfectly at plank boundaries. The floors I showed contain several such seams.
Have you tried basswood ply, Matt?

Your right, I didn't think of that.
If I was to use a prototype station to base the MTH model off of such as this, would this paint color look correct for the building color? If not what would? I want this station to look unique and semi prototypical.
Any help here?
