In looking at some video of Reading's Green Rs3's the colors appear almost identical to that of the Pennsylvania RS 3 ? To me it looks like the difference is no radio antenna, and the use of marker lights on the Reading. Would re-decaling the Pennsylvania with Reading decals work?

I don't recall the Pennsylvania RR EVER having any "green" diesel units. It would be interesting to see some color photos of those.

The Reading units are definitely green. However, the PRR units were virtually black, i.e. Dark Locomotive Green Enamel. The PRR DLGE is essentially a 55 gallon from of black paint, with maybe a quart of green mixed in. Not even close to that Reading color, in my opinion.
Not that much is made for Reading Lines, so using a PRR diesel engine will work for me as well as long as the Reading had a similar engine.
However the Reading had some GP-39-2's and most model train companies use a GP-38 instead of the real model of the prototype.

Don't forget the Reading rain gutters.
