My circuit board under the engine boiler came lose and I guess was moving around. Is it likely to short out if it contacts the metal boiler body? My engine is dead. Not even a light but the tender funtions. Sound, lights and coupler all work. Very strange. Thanks Gary.

Yes it can short. So get it back in the plastic holder. Also, if not a good connection via drawbar you can see same symptoms. Tender powers up, but missing signals to boiler board so nothing working in the engine. G
