Anyone???
Have they even shipped yet?
Hello Hot Water, according to MTH's website, they have shipped to 3 dealers....so far. My dealer hasn't receive his shipment....yet. I just wanted to know the opinions of others who received this engine. How does this engine responds versus the PS-2 version of this engine.........................rogerw.
I have the roller bearing side rods version of the previous PS-2 issue, and I can't imagine the newer PS-3 version "responding" any differently. The PS-2 version should have the "playable/quill-able" whistle though.
Hot Water, This will be my 1st purchase of this model engine. I don't own another N&W Class A engine to compare the PS-3 engine to. That is the reason why I'm asking these questions....lol. I can't wait to get this engine on my layout!!................rogerw.
I have all four of them in stock...... I am planning on keeping one and running it on our layout - any suggestions as to which one I should keep?
1218 of course!
Finally received my MTH-Premier N&W Class A steam engine (1218) from the Train Loft. It looks and runs great on my layout! Will post pictures and video soon.........................rogerw.

Here is a video of my MTH-Premier 1218 Class A Steam Engine with 12 N&W passenger cars................rogerw.
Super nice looking locomotive and train. Thanks for the video. Fantastic smoke output per usual for MTH steamers! I have the 1218 and 1242 from prior issues and decided to pass on this round in order to pick up J no. 610 due next month. MTH is offering these for direct sale on its website though at full retail. You can get them for less cost from dealers like Muffin's.
