Just recieved a NIB 10 years old M&M's EP5 engine 30,5221-1. Horn seems to sound a little garbled, but since i never heard the horn when it was first built, not sure if its bad.. so i charged the engine using the transformer with the engine in neutral. After the charge the engine sounded better, and was more responsive, but I cannot get to accept commands from a DCS Remote Commander. I have power to the track and when i push any of the buttons on the remote the green light on the module flashes, but nothing happens. So i checked the Remote commander on another engine and it works fine.
I tried the reset using the SND, DIR, and -- buttons on the remote, but does not work. I also tried reset using the buttons on a Zcontroller.
Could it be a battery that seems to be refusing a full charge ???
Thanks..
