MTH Remote Thumbwheel is Reversed ?

Well I just installed a new Thumbwheel in a DCS Remote.

All the wires are correct as per on line photos and photos I took as I went along with disassembly.

However, now the Thumbwheel is reversed - meaning rotating up goes to zero MPH and rotating down increases MPH.

Help appreciated.
