I think we all agree today that sometimes pictures in catalogs do not look as good as the final product. For some reason the Rock Island cars did look like they might be a winner, so I ordered them. The final product met my expectations and then some. Well done MTH. Being a toy train guy, I like the bright colors.

Well, they certainly look good to me, and I rode them every day back in the '70's. Now all you need is an E-unit, an F-unit or a BL-2.

Hello Mark. These were used in commuter service. I also have the E-8 diesel set on order. These should look at home parked next to my CNW E-8 diesels with the 21 inch K-Line Bi-Level cars.
