Ok, this is the whole picture. I checked all the fuses (all ok). Checked all connections (all ok). Checked both Variable channels (both ok when using aux power only). When I use Fixed 1, i use a Lionel 180 watt brick plugged into the input side and blk and red wires goes to the track (this works fine, I am even able to add engines). Now, i want to use Fixed 2. Removed the 180 brick from Fixed one and moved it Fixed 2. No red light on the TIU but i hear the engine click (meaning there is power). When I try to add the engine it says Remote is out of RF range (also when I press the READ button) . Next, I applied power to the Aux and then pressed READ and it found my TIU and AIU. But when i try to add an engine it says NO ENGINES TO ADD. Do I need to send this thing for service? Or is there a fix to this that i can do? When I use a transformer going to the channel inputs there is no red light, only on Fixed channel 1.
Can anyone help?
