MTH Z4000 regarding upgrades

I am currently thinking of buying a used transformer. This MTH has a serial number beginning with 0398. I understand it was manufactured in March 1998.

when first turned on across the bottom screen (amps right side and left side) it momentarily flashes 01 00

I have heard if it flashes 01 03 it was not upgraded and may have suspect boards and also if it flashes 01 04 it has been upgraded. However I don't know what 01 00 indicates ? Additionally it had a sticker that said "RS" on the bottom. Any comments appreciated. Thank you
