Here is a video of my layout under the Christmas tree. This year it's all about toys from the 1950's including my 1957 Lionel 027 #1575 train set.

Thanks again, Alex
David, I love it. I would have loved to have had that layout under my tree when I was a kid. Heck, I'd love to have it under my tree now!
Dave:
I always enjoy the great stuff you put together. Takes me way back.
Super. Great track plan. Great everything! Thanks for posting.
Great looking display. I love stuff from the 50's, even non train related items. Your mix of a bit of everything is awesome.
I think I saw you checking out the Glancy layout last weekend when I was running trains at the De La Salle show.

Hi Jake, yes I was at the De La Salle show and I remember seeing the big Glancy layout.
Wonderful setup David! Reminds of a NYC Macy window display. Great to watch the train move through toy land. I had the magic 8-ball as ell as many other items in your layout. Brought back some great moments in time. Simple elegance, I could sit and watch tat layout for hours.
Thanks for posting David. I always enjoy your videos!
"Here he comes! Here he comes! Greatest toy you've ever seen. And, his name is.."
Terrific. Thanks.
Ron
Another nicely done video, Thanks for posting David.
Charming......I also have a soft spot in my heart for Mr Machine

Fantastic idea. It seems everywhere I look in the video and on your layout, there is another memory! You have some lovely mementos of the '50s. That jet fighter out front - I had one! Wow.
Thank you for sharing!
Well done, David! Thanks for posting the video.
Thanks for posting this David. Watching your film was a wonderful journey back to my childhood.
David, Very nice.
Robert the Robot was one of my favorite toys.
"I am Robert the Robot, mechanical man. Guide me and steer me wherever you can."
Thanks for bringing back some good memories.

Bravo! Right out of a department store window display during Christmas season.
Fantastic display.. I wish I wasn't so set on my christmas layout or I would try this!
David,
Great video and great layout. What is the brown building that looks similar to Lincoln Logs, but uses square logs.

I cannot believe it. Another owner of a Mr Machine and one who has the artists eye for just terrific Christmas layouts and videos that are pure fun to watch. Just those three reasons are enough to say a sincere thank you for sharing them. You began my day with a smile and a grin. Way cool, as always.
Very nice. Nice track pattern and plenty of nostalgic toys. I have that AA engine. It is a good runner. Thank you for sharing.
Super display. We had my old Lincoin Logs set on our Christmas Layout.
The viewmaster is the same one my Mom had in the 50's. She was brought up in the States.
She says she wishes she had some trains but she got dolls!
She made sure I had some unusual (for the UK) toys when I was a kid. Such as my Lincoln logs.
Regards
Nick
Thanks for the great video and train set up with toys.

I enjoyed your video. Especially the sound of the engines and cars crossing the 45 degree crossovers.
That is nice. I like the way the track plan has the train going around the groups of toys.
Very nice...thanks. As part of my 3-D hobby, I have a collection of over 2,000 View Master reels from 1939 through the 1970s. BTW, they still make new ones.

Ditto! That really is a nice track plan!
Great Layout and nice track plan. Memories of many a Christmas of my youth and family members passed on came flooding back, for this I thank you!
Thank you for sharing and best wishes for 2013.
