While at York I visited the Korber booth in the Orange Hall. Vey nice items on display. I picked up some detail items and my first Korber kit to try my hand at building. The people at the booth were very helpful and answered my questions and gave me some tips. I purchsed the Shanahan Freight Station.

It was a two part building so I easily adjusted the build and just made the main section. Very easy kit to work with. I still have some detailing to do such as lighting, adding a floor between stories and the like. Start to finish it was a five hour project. I am sure next kit will be easier, I learned as I went on this one.

I found it is very difficult to photograph and get them to come out nice and in the correct color shades the actual model is. I did my best. I would recomment these kits to anyone that is nervous about building form a kit.
