Yeah, that's in a reset mode. There was many posts about it. I believe it was cured with either a sound reload or a conventional reset. I believe VAGolpher had posted it first?
Marc,
Is this a new or replacement PS3 board, or is it in an engine that has worked properly before?
If it's a new or replacement board, it needs to have sound and chain files loaded.
I believe there's a way to cure it since that older video. I also had one do it and I fixed it in house. I just can't remember how? I believe the techs got info and shared the fix?
Ooops, listen to Barry, he posted.
I think I remember the sound file had to finish loading and be reset.
For some reason I believe that the programmer wasn't resetting the board fully after the load?
Engineer-Joe and Barry many thanks for your help.
This PS3 board comes from another engine : 20-20435-1 SD-9043MAC
I loaded a new sound from one 20-20449-1 SD70Mac
And now : BEEP BEEP
I reloaded the sound and there is no change.

Yes but
"Joe that is normal after the first power cycle after a flash code load. After the load and power is turned off the board beeps as it transfers data. The next power cycle it finishes loading and then starts up. After that you should not hear anymore beeping. G"
It does not work for me.
I'll load the original sound.
The speed and type of beeping determines if a problem occurred. Normal beeping occurs after a flash code load. It indicates the processor has seen new code versus what was in memory. It will compare and loaded it. Once completed with a power cycle, the morse code stops. If it continues there was a problem and the board has a problem. Try loading new flash code. If it takes, your good to go. If not, must go to MTH to reload with the pogo fixture (special loader). G
with the original sound file : same problem
Hello George,
So, one board for you, and I have another engine for you.
Marc.
No problem. Hope all is well. G
