A while back I had purchased the above locomotive from a forum member and I never had the opportunity to run it.  It stayed in the box for a while and then I put it on the display shelf with the tender placed right behind it never hooking them together.  Two weeks ago, I unpacked it from our move and took it down to the club to run for the 1st time.  This is one of my favorite locomotives (even if it is lettered for the wrong road, I'm an SP fan) and I've always been anxious to see it run, to make a long story short and not bore you guys, when I went to put it on the rails, it had no drawbar attached to it.  It had been removed by the seller I'm assuming but it didn't cut it.  Does anyone happen to have an extra one I could purchase from them.  I would try and scratch one out of .080" styrene but I'm not sure how long to make it.  If anyone has one they are willing to part with, drop me a line, e-mail is in my profile and name your price so I can send you the funds, it will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks and have a great weekend.

Really nice loco! Brasseur Electric Trains bough much of remaining K-line inventory and can help: https://traindoctor.com/service/kline/kline.php I'd suggest giving them a call or sending an email.

I believe it is one of these drawbars but I'm not sure. Maybe another OGR member can check their K-line Mikado?

If you find the need for any other parts, you may be able to order some used on the Lionel USRA Mikado (which is re-issued K-line tooling.) Just note that the electronics won't be compatible. In this case the Lionel version uses a wireless IR drawbar, so unfortunately that's not a viable replacement.

Alex w, GRJ and Dave C , I apologize for the tardy reply, been out of pocket and didn't get a chance to check the forum for replies, I thank you all so much for your very helpful replies.  I will get going on this and see what I can come up with.  I'd  really like to find an original K-line part but have no problem making one from FG sheet.  All I would need to do is find the sheet.    Shouldn't be a problem, I think there is a model R/C store not too far away.  It is a terrific engine and I'm really anxious to get it running,.  Thanks again for your answers, much appreciated.
