I have an O-63 half circle at one end of a loop and I wish to incorporate an O-72/O-54 curved turnout at the other end, so that the inner-curve (O-54 leg) matches up to the O-63 loop and the outer curve (O-72 leg) will form an outside passing siding, as shown in the diagram.  It appears I can use two 1.25" pieces to get the outside siding to mate up, but there seems to be a slight gap on the inside curve when I use those same two 1.25" pieces, so that gap must be slightly longer than 2.5".  I'm trying to avoid cutting track if I can.  I haven't laid out any track yet but perhaps this gap is ever so slight and forgiving and I will be able to complete the loop without cutting?

Any ideas or alternate suggestions using these turnouts would be appreciated.  Perhaps someone has accomplished this already.

Thanks,

Rick

Actually, your original version is so close you can probably fudge it. That would maintain O54 minimum curves for you.

AnyRail allows limited fudging this way:

Right-click to disconnect your one piece that is not connected at both ends.

Use a single up-arrow to reposition the piece very slightly.

Right-click on each end to connect (instead of "auto-connect")
