need large tether to connect MTH One gauge F7 to PA unit slave (custom splice)

I bought these 2 Santa Fe engines with the thought of pairing them together. They have different wiring harness connectors. The F7 PS2 3v lead unit has a regular ( O scale) size 10 wire tether, but the PA PS2 3v slave has a very large 10 wire.

I need a tether plug that would fit the G scale PA unit. The one in the bottom picture I need for another PA set of SP engines. Something I could splice in a regular tether for the F7. I have a regular tether laying around somewhere. I need to check that to see if that fits the F7.
