Well look what I found today an old Polaroid of me I would have to say I was maybe nine or 10 that my mom took of me.
The size of the layout was the one 4 x 8 sheet of plywood an old ping-pong table that my brothers didn't play anymore I took it over.
Sounds very familiar...I had a layout on top of a ping-pong table when I was young, too!

I had the church, station, and split level house, maybe more. I bought my first train set in 1969 when I was 13, then bought plywood and put it on top of this ancient table in the cellar. It stayed there until I went away to my first job after 2 years college when I was 19.

Looking very good! I remember watching the 1:1 version when I worked at the power station over 20 years ago. Those were really cool too!

Tried a new camera for videos, took a few laps around the layout, alike the way this one looks.but still learning.
The cranes are super cool. Where did you find those?

First of all let me just say I'm a little jealous of the picture of the X 18, cranes are pretty cool I believe I got them at diecast direct.com but that was quite a few years ago every once in a while I'd look on your webpage they got some pretty cool cranes. And thanks for checking out my video just starting off.
Looking good my friend!
