I have the FEF 844 that came out this year. I can't get the driver cab light to work. Does it have one? If so, how do you turn it on?

How are you operating it? Conventional, Command, or Bluetooth? Always a good idea to supply the product number as well.
There is a button on Cab2 that will turn off and on the Cab light. The cab light should only come on when the engine is stopped.
Cab2 remote and the new base 3 App. It does not work with either of them when stopped. I was wondering if there was a cab light in it? Which button turns on the cab light on the CAB2? Aux 2 menu? I tried all lights on that, but it did not work. I could not find the CAB light on the manual either.
Have you tried doing a reset on the locomotive?
How do you do a reset? Never had to do that before.

On Cab2 when you push ENG XX, XX being the number you gave it, it's on the same screen as Startup and Shutdown. It says CAB with a little light bulb. On Cab3 it is the top center button under the lighting menu.
I have tried that Cab light on the start up menu on the Cab 2. It does not work.

Re-assign the Legacy / TMCC ID.
It does not work. I spoke to another guy that has bought The FEF 2 months ago. He says his cab light also never worked from day one like mine. Looks like Lionel forgot to install a CAB light on the FEF's? Unless someone can confirm their new FEF has a working cab light.
It is a very small LED at the top of the cab. You almost don’t see it and it certainly does not light up the cab like other engines. Bet yours is working, but virtually unnoticeable. See pic of mine below.

Just watched two videos on YouTube didn't seem to be lit or well lit in either video

BAM, I just wanted to tell you that I thought that was a really helpful answer and I wish they all were as clear as that one.
Matt
I'd follow @BAM Railroad 's advice and do a good look. If it's just not bright enough that maybe the reason you are not seeing it. Without having one to compare many of us work with the information we are given to provide an answer.
It's always a good idea to include the product number (not the Cab number), control and power type, what has been tried, and any history if any.
Wow BAM is right. I had to switch off all the lights in the room last night and had to peek inside to see the light. Very slight one, you could hardly see it.
I feel stupid. Thank you Marty and BAM for the help. I really appreciate it. I wonder why Lionel put in such a small and unnoticeable light in there. Anyway, glad I don't have to ship it out for service.
Product number is 2431260 FEF 844. It's the gloss paint scheme. I wonder why they made it gloss this time around. Last release in 2015 was not gloss.
