I love the Providence & Worcester Dash 8. A bit disappointed there are no additional roadnames or listing for the 44 Tonner or the Tunnel Motor (Was hoping for a DRG).
And yet again those of us hoping for a Kodachrome Merger Livery will continue to dream...........
That is my selfish view after a first glance.
Paul
No 44 tonners? No sale.
Like that they are offering a set of B&M FTs, but I have a perfectly good set of PS2 FTs. I am to the point where I am just yawning at the reruns.
Nothing else that I am interested in.
thanks for posting. will get printed catalog in YORK this week
SSSWWWEEEETTT~! Nothing I need or want!
Absolutely nothing on my want list! Thanks, MTH.

No no tooling, as far as I could tell. (Except for the sd60e)
Pretty boring catalog.

OK, maybe a couple of 6 car sets of two bay N&W hopper cars. Not that I would have bought it, but it would have been nice if the excursion cars were offered as a "set" price vs. a la carte.
There are numerous Premier freight cars that I have to get.

Finally it's up, thanks for posting.
Thanks for the link.
It appears I have been priced out of the new train market.

There's a set of British passenger cars in the European section with new tooling.

A NYC express car I've never seen before. Other than that I don't see new tooling from anyone these days.
The DM&IR ore cars I could get are in the RailKing line.
Reading & Northern steel caboose in Premier Line, that's it.
While there's a few things that interest me, there is nothing I absolutely need. It seems to me I've seen most of this stuff before. Really wish they had made the Nasa and NS 33k tanks in premiere! Oh well it's not like I don't have enough stuff on pre-order already!
The SCM Chemicals TiOna tank car looks good.
Andrew
There is a Burlington Northern SD40-2 in the 1876 scheme. That is interesting.
Andrew
A total pass on this one.
I looked at the new catalog and there were a couple of items that I might want to buy. However there was no bobber caboose in the new catalog and I am looking for a bobber caboose for Philadelphia & Reading Railways, similar to the one from their 2005 catalog.

A couple freight cars and maybe a NS SD-60. Strange that they are running the NP, GN, SP&S Z-6's again.

Good Grief!
The Russian decapods are back and still no FRISCO, even though there just happens to be an operational one at IRM.
Does 1630 have cooties or something????
Rusty
I am in for the Railking Milwaukee H10-44. I'm a sucker for those Hiawatha colors!
Quite a disappointing catalog if you ask me. Not only were there re runs, but there were re runs from literally last year (SD40-2). No 44 Tonners, which is certain to be a big hit, so that's a miss for MTH. There was a RK 611 which has been in the past few catalogs back to back Although, I am happy about separate A and B units for sale and I plan to order an SD60E. Just my 2 cents...
it doesnt seem to be much of a commitment to O gauge anymore....no new tooling for premier freightcars.....scaletrax selection is a joke.....MTH seems to forgotten O gauge is what got em to this point....my only interest is a railking dash-8 conrail n/power,maybe, since iam on a mad rush buying everything CR. -Jim
Put me down for NOTHING.
I'm going for the Premier Long Island Alco S-2, and the Railking Pennsy FM H10-44.
Stuart
You guys are NOT encouraging me to pull this up...guess I will wait for a paper
copy, or...maybe...just look at previous ones (ignoring those prices, of course)
I know the DT&I Decapod made some members of the D3R club very happy!
The new catalog has a lot of reruns, but that is OK, especially if one of the is an Item you've been longing for. As to the European models, I have no interest, but if MTH finds a market for them and can make a profit, that keeps a them healthy. That serves the whole hobby.
There are a few thing I like and may purchase. The FM H-100-44 and the EMD demonstrator FTs. I like the early Lackawanna freight scheme F3s. I wish they were Premiers as I don't care for the Post War like units and their lack of details. I also like the Santa Fe FTs in the early freight colors. I think the red striping makes a hansom unit.
Noticed that ScaleTrax is still prominently featured, but understand that there is little support for it on the part of MTH. Go figure.
UUHHHHHH, Another great catalog! So far a I see 6 things that I want and need:
R33S Subway set
R32 Subway set
NS SD60E
NS SD40-2
NS Safety Train set
and the E8 Super Chief set.
Well, I can kiss my budget goodbye.
I am excited that I will be able to get a single Southern Railway E8 and a 5 car set of Southern passenger cars with no dome car.
I am a Railking kinda guy due to budget reasons. I like the KCS SW1500, the Santa Fe GP-20 and the Wabash E-8s and passenger cars. I also like the Wonder Bread/ Hostess Cake hopper (partly due to my love for all things Hostess).
I like several of the Premier Steamers as they will run on O-54 or less....now I just need to figure out how to pay for them.

This was a near miss for my filed flight plan on the loco side.
The BN SD-40-2 needed to be in every day cascade green and white paint scheme for me to purchase. This hasn't happened at MTH since the advent of the internet age . Okay, well as least since the addition of PS2. Help a brother out!
The Russian Decapod in Frisco 1630 paint, a sure huge hit seeing as it runs all summer long just outside Chicago at the Illinois Railway Museum for thousands of visitors annually seems like a missed opportunity.
No CTA offerings!!! Were they that poor of a sale in the past? The NYC subway sets come every year so there must be interest in subways for o operators.
On the freight car side I may opt for the Wonder Bread hopper to recreate the Wonder Bread location just off LaGrange Road and I-55 outside Chicago. Through in the sign from our friends at Miller Engineering and a nice building front from Korber Models and I'm all set!!!
The NS safety train and 611 excursion sets are very cool items! I may get just the Wabash dome car to use to create my own excursion off the end of my Amtrak trains. Nice work on these two sets MTH!!
I'm also looking forward to seeing the guys who will recreate the roundhouse scene from the NS gathering a while back with the F unit offerings. This will look really cool on the larger layouts!! I look forward to seeing many photos on here in the future!
Other than that, yes a lot of repeats and a relative sleeper. Not much in the way of "I have to have it".
I haven't looked yet, but I am really hoping to be just as disappointed as many of you are so far.
My wallet needs a good LONG break here, MTH usually has more than I can afford all at once from one catalog. They seem to have my number.
I wish they would fix the undersized fuel tank on the FT and offer it with fixed pilots. Otherwise I think it belongs in the railking line.
