For the first time in many years Korber Models will be launching new products at the TCA fall York meet. We are pretty excited, and a bit frazzled with all the last minute activity to prepare.
Based on feedback from many of you, are are launching two new products. The first is a new background building, the #700 Background Apartment Building kit. This shallow relief building is ideal to add life to your layout, giving all the detail of a full size structure, but in only 3". Complete with details like gutters, down spouts, and super detailed injection molded fire escapes. We have also created detailed simple step by step instructions complete with color photos and clear diagrams, that make building the kit straight forward and doable for hobbyists of all skill levels.
The second new product is a great addition for any layout even if you think you are finished and don't have any more room. We are excited to offer the model 701 Roof Top Wood Water Tank kit. This kit is our first last cut kit, and is really sharp. Look at the skyline of any city, even today, and you will see tanks just like this one on roof tops everywhere. There are multistory buildings on your layout just waiting for some roof top details. Just like the new background building, the water tank kit comes with detailed instructions with plenty of color photos to make the build a snap.
We will also have a wide range of model kits, detail parts available for sale, and we will have several of the newly manufactured 304 roundhouse complete with new instructions and new laser cut windows. These are a real improvement in the look of the roundhouse. These will also be available on our web site shortly after York.
