Great...just when I thought I was done buying engines!
Hello MTH??
Announce this ASAP, make sure it is in the next catalog, whatever. Just PLEASE make certain that you use your Dash 9 tooling with the correct insert for the high mounted headlight. I"ll take one in 2 Rail...

OK, this buzsaw looks better.
But it would look better longer if the gray was black.
But instead of a special paint on a rebuild, maybe the NS needs to spend more time getting operational metrics up.

What do you mean operational metrics?
Average train speed, dwell time in yards.....

I hope NS paints a second one as well. But whether they do or not I hope MTH makes this in 2 numbers.

This unit I really really the paint scheme. Reminds me of First Responders 911 with the color on the front. I would be interested if MTH does make this.

Wow. My favorite color scheme: grey, white, black, and red!

I wasn't actually meaning the engine style, but the way the red and white are on the front, reminds me of that of NS Honoring First Responders 911, not the engine itself, just the front paint.
Somebody's been playing with his Lionel F3 Warbonnet lately . . .
The red is supposed to be for CAF, the Spanish company working with NS on the convetsions.
Is this the same CAF who built LTR cars for Houston METRO and building Viewliner-2 cars for Amtrak?
