I had to take my 6-82806 UP FEF apart and I knocked loose the capacitor on the plug above the front of the electric motor. Which 2 pins do the capacitor leads solder to. It looks like one lead goes to the right pin - engineers side, Where does the 2nd lead go to.

be extra careful when you put it back that it doesn't get reversed. Can you take a picture of the board?
Pictures will help, and please tell us exactly what value the cap is. I'm guessing it might be the non-polarized cap across the motor for transient suppression.
John the leads are bent at 90 degrees and the cap was mounted parallel to the centerline of the engine with the body facing to the rear of the engine. If someone has the latest FEF perhaps they can look inside to see which 2 pins the cap is mounted to. Value 220uf 5v marked 3m624
Isn't there only 2 tabs on the motor?
The Odyssey motor driver board is mounted on the motor, from the value of the cap, it's clear that it's associated with that board and not across the motor leads. So, given that fact, I don't know for sure where it connects without seeing it. It should be possible to see the places where the wires separated from the PCB.
Thanks Doug and Alex M. I blew the picture way up and will solder the leads back on.
Make sure you get the polarity right.
