This video highlights Lionel's Union Pacific's famous "Big Boy" (4-8-8-4) #4014 hauling an "Employee Special" passenger train.
My Big Boy is Lionel #6 - 11437 built in 2015. It runs and looks great. The locomotive and tender are 32" long and weigh close to 25 pounds. Yikes. Do not drop it!
The passenger cars are Lionel numbers 6 - 25433 (4 pack), 6 - 25438 (2 pack) and the Diner 6 - 25441. There is a total of (7) cars and they were manufactured in 2005. They are the highly sought after all aluminum 18" cars with fully detailed interiors and seated passengers. The cars are called the "City of Denver" and originally offered with a F3 ABBA set of diesel locomotives (previous video). I added an "auxiliary tender", Lionel #6 - 28087 issued in 2001 and a MTH UP tank car (#20 - 96061) because it looked good together.
Sorry guys, no smoke. I keep the smoke "turned off" on most of my steam locomotives since I only run them 1or 2 times a year. I do not want the smoke fluid causing problems from lack of use by sitting inside the smoke generator.
