My friend Gene and I went to the NYBG in 1993. Im not sure but I think this may have been the first showing. It was entirely outside and there was no charge. It was freezing cold. I took these pictures on an SLR and had prints made. I came across the prints last week. It has become a huge holiday event in NYC. It is now indoors at the NYBG. From what my neighbor told me, price wise it’s like taking your family to a baseball game. Here are my 32 year old pictures. All the buildings and structures were made from natural material found in the garden .
