We are newly on board with restoring an HO scale model of Pennsylvania Station. It is a very exciting project and may lead to consideration of O Scale elements should there be an interest. In the mean time, I am looking for some information about the station:

1. We would like to know what the main entrance door and window configuration was on the 7th Avenue facade. You can see from the straight-on view that there is a hole in the model. Any pictures, description or plan would be helpful.

2. What is the date of dedication that was enscribed on the main plaque in the building. We have a copy of the original design document but the date is left out, presumably to be chiseled in when actually known.

there are many, many good photographs of NY Penn found online. It is a very well documented building.

In addition, the books: 'The Late Great Penn Station' and 'Conquering Gotham' both have many photos.

A few years ago, the Hagley Museum commissioned a larger scale model of NY Penn. You can probably find additional photos on their website.
