They may not be collectible.  I do so detest that word.  I like the pop culture items Lionel and MTH put out.  I've been lobbying for Bond, James Bond for a while.  Maybe one day 007 items will be produced.  Whoever does it will make some sales to me at least.  Not everyone wants scale authenticity from toys that run on 3 rail track.

Abbot and Costello meet the wolf man was the best of the genre.   It had all the main actors/characters.  Bela Lugosi as Dracula, Boris Karloff as the Frankenstein monster, I think Vincent Price as the invisible man showed up at the end, and of course my all time favorite, the tortured soul, Lon Chaney Jr. As the wolfman.  Great stuff.  I wouldn't buy any of them in a million years, especially at $70 each as was mentioned, but someone will I guess.

That would be very interesting indeed.  (I'm not a huge Bond fan, but I do go see the new movies and like most of them, including the original classics that are slightly older than I am - actually bought the entire collection on DVD when they released it as a boxed set the year Skyfall came out).

I wonder if interest would be high enough for them to make a boxcar for each movie, or if that might be way overkill for any interest that actually is out there?  If not, it would be cool even if there were shared cars (maybe 2 movies per car, different graphics on each side?).

Probably could do some interesting loads on flats as well, or maybe a small set of auto carriers with some of the key Bond vehicles.  I'm sure most of the vehicles themselves (if not all) have been done in some scale (maybe no O appropriate) along the way.

Sorry to drift off the Elm Street car topic.  While I personally am not attracted to that offering, I have no issue with it if there are customers who find it desirable.  (But I do recognize it's maybe borderline being a horror movie - then again most of the trains now have "Ages 14-Adult" printed on the box....)

We all may like different stuff, I'm OK with that.
