is there a way to use NJ Switch machines that prevent them from burning up when you try to make them non derailing? I've used Atlas controllers but they aren't currently available. Lenny

Use mom spdt (momentary single pole double throw) toggle switches for control.
See capacitor use in attached document to prevent burned contacts.

Back when I used NJI switch machines, I wired the controllers and the non-derailing feed through the DPDT contacts that are on the sides of the switch motors. When the motor switched, it disconnected the feed. Never had a problem, other than keeping the contacts clean. Eventually I changed them all to DZ-1000s.
