Just returned from visit to Virginian Transportation Museum and saw the three main beasts built and operated by N & W.I just received the Lionel J Class 611.Does anyone know if any manufacture made nice models of N & W Y6a Class number 2156 and / or the N & W Class A 1218. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thinking I might make up a coal train, freight train and a passenger train. Al B

Both Lionel and MTH have offered the N&W Class A, in road number 1218.

Only Sunset/3rd Rail has produced an accurate, SCALE model of the N&W Y6a, and the also offered models of the N&W Y6b, at the same time.

George Kohs made the definitive Y6b in two rail O scale. It came with an accessory water tender. Do you need two or three rail?

Except the original poster is inquiring about a model of N&W #2156, currently on display there in Roanoke, which is a Y6a.
