Steam Locomotive NKP 765 will cross this bridge about 10 times in August...5 times in each direction.

When my family and I were going to and from Hersheypark recently, I took some photographs of this same bridge from the backseat of our car-while it was moving, which is why they are not R. Steinheimer quality. Oh, and great job getting a shot of the heritage unit. I can never seem to find an Amtrak train with one powering it!

Here's a picture from the Rockville bridge, taken on Amtrak #43 on June 30th.

Our power was the 822, seen upon arrival in Pittsburgh.

I don't think the water level is too high these days.

There should be another spot along 15 where there is a smaller stone bridge near Duncannon.

I found the B&B after last York and while it's a great railfan spot I'm not sure I can convince my wife to join me.  It's decent enough but not a four-star hotel.  I think they said it was a former fish & tackle shop, with extensive additions.

So I may have go by myself.

I spent a lot of time in and around Harrisburg the past year. Hopefully we'll have another project in the future in Steelton.
