Does anyone know what happened to North Lima Trainworks? I can't find them on the internet.

I'd had the same experience: no reponse to e-mails or phone messages I'd left on their answering machine. I guess the term "Customer Service" hasn't occurred to them?
I'd suggest you try Jeff (The Train Tender) Kane in TCA. DK
Thanks Guys
Who are they? I've never heard of them. I thought the only O gauge stuff in N Lima was the Hardware store...? I'll be down that way again in Oct. Do they have a storefront?
The last I heard they were updating the web site. As for not answering phone calls or email I cannot answer, they possibilty could be on vacation. John was at Lionels open house last year taking orders, maybe he will be there again. Let us know if we can help you find the parts you need.

Lionel refers many parts to North Lima, so apparently they have quite a stock of older Lionel parts.

No, they do not.
I've purchased some items in the past. They were 'off-line' a few months back and then came back on with a new web site. For some reason, they are switching again? Seems that if they are not selling parts, then Lionel should not be saying that N. Lima has them available. Maybe we will get more info at the Lionel open house on the 18th.

They were at the Niles train show in Youngstown a few months back.. I bought a Union Pacific caboose That was made for the vl challenger for 25 bucks brand new.. They had alot of parts there..
C. W. is correct. I got an order from them only last week. They are very good at getting back to any request. I needed a few parts for my C&O Yellowbelly and they had them. A great place to get older Lionel parts. Mike Reagan informed me that they will have a rep at his open house in two weeks. I will talk to the person and get an update to pass on to forum members.
Is www.nltrainworks.com the right web address for North Lima or do they have a new one?
Thank you Jay.
