O scale modern style twin bay construction equipment service building

This is a very basic modern style twin bay construction equipment service building that was constructed for use on an O scale model railroad scene. Although the building is shown with "Construction Equipment" signage it could also be used as a warehouse as part of an intermodal container storage or warehouse facility.  The building signs can easily be replaced as necessary to change the use for the structure.

The model is made from 3/16 inch foam board and various wood shapes. The structure has twin service bays with doors at either end. "Bollards" have been placed at either side of the entrances to the service bays. Overall size of the structure is 17 by 19 inches. The photos show the structure with removable service bay doors installed. The building is detailed inside and outside. Not shown is interior and exterior LED lighting and "window glass" to be added later.

This structure can be completely disassembled for storage purposes since the walls are detachable.

Note: The following photos are typical "bollards" used to protect service bay entrances and pedestrian areas.

VEry nice except Bollards are positioned to protect the door frame and building corners. At the Postal distribution center, bollards are positioned in froant and stick out just shy ofd the maximum door width so the theory is more than likely, equipment will hit the bollard before damaging the door frame and/or the automatic door tracks.
