Since I model railroads in the south I have many pulpwood cars and a pulpwood yard on the layout. The elusive pulpwood loaders are difficult to get photos of and even more difficult to find a model of one. I finally found serveral photos so I created some myself. These are O and HO scale. These are mostly styrene construction and the wheels were acquired from dollar store toy vehicles.

Excellent models! Where did you find dimensions for the pulpwood loaders? Thinking about building one or two for my railroad.
Brother love you have a God given gift, I wish I was so blessed. You see something and can recreate it in scale. My blessing come in different ways. Thanks be to God

Great work!!! I can remember seeing these things all over in rural areas with tracks.
Very nice work. Loading lots of pulp wood with three loaders.
With specialized industry, you have to be creative..and willing to research...good job!
Fabulous work!
Really inspiring. I need to search past "brother love" threads to find any tutorial hints.
I never knew just how they loaded the pulpwood cars. I figured maybe some type of fork lift with special forks? Probably would only do one log at a time that way and I didn't think anymore about it.
Brother love,
Nice work!! Very professional. Do you by chance ship loads of pulp to paper factories, that I'm told use such material?
