Chris and I are off to the recently moved (Chicago in the past) I-Hobby show in Cleveland. Hope to see many new items from all the manf.s there and will give you a report before we head out to York. If you are a dealer, I will be giving a panel discussion along with other major retailers on "Tips of the Trade, What's Happening in Regional Retailing" on Friday at the NRHSA Breakfest at 7:30 in Rm 8 of the I-X Center. All Retailers are invited!

I attended RCHTA and/or iHobby for years until about 2006. I was going this year but then many manufactures (not rail hobby companies) told me they were not going this year. Some of these are going to have new product announcements online today or sometime this week.  I miss not going but the show has lost some of its importance in recent years. How else would I gotten to meet Cliff Grandt, Irv Athrean and Neil Young!!!  Are you going to give us highlights here???

For those who are interested ihobbyexpo at the IX Center in Cleveland is open to the public on Saturday Oct 13 and Sunday Oct 14 from 10am to 5pm. More information is available at www.GiantShow.com

Also for register trade(i.e. hobby shop owners) the show is additionally open 9am to 5pm on Thursday Oct 11 and Friday Oct 12. Trade info is at ihobbyexpo.com

From a train perspective I know MTH, Atlas, Athearn, Walthers, Kato, Kalmbach, Bachmann and many others will be there.
