I got lucky before and got a pair of 2 rail trucks to convert a MTH RK switcher to 2 rail. So when they opened their new parts dept., I thought there were more. I grabbed them and this is what I got. The wheels measure around an inch and 3/32 or 28MM.

The wheels are huge! I don't even know what these would be for? They are marked as studded wheels?

Very interesting. I would like to see a comparison of that wheel to the correct size wheel. Could the wheel be from G Gauge?

That’s what I was wondering about it. If it was possible to buy the 3/2 diesel trucks and convert an older diesel or a Rail King diesel to 2 rail? I sincerely hope that it is possible to buy those trucks if not now some day in the future.

they are so big. I'll have to take another pic next to regular ones. They look twice as tall. Definitely O scale. Thin treads. I was wondering if they were for a modern engine or actually some old electric?

I have another post already, about getting a set of 3/2 trucks and converting a RK switcher.

Glad you figured it out Joe. I never knew those engines had such big wheels. Learn something new every day.  I did read your thread on converting the RK SW1500. That was really cool how you converted that. If you ever figure out which trucks will do the job from this new MTH parts company correctly please let us know.

I looked and these were the only 2 rail that I saw. There aren't many 2 rail parts listed yet, unless they match the 3 rail versions. I'm watching.

I have to wonder if they'll produce these for us or they're just selling off stock?

Joe, …my turn to pay it forward,….I’ve got a pile of 2 rail parts for you,….shoot me your address via email when you get a chance,…

Pat
