I have the:
Lionel 6-30218 Polar Express O Gauge Remote Set

I run 5 cars: chocolate car, passenger car, marionette car, hobo car, and observation car. Perfect for me. The other cars stay on the shelf

I have notices that later sets have silhouettes in the windows - Are the new windows available and can they be exchanged to upgrade my P.e. a bit

I just looked at the Lionel site. The windows are not available. None of the "body or chassis" is available. Only the interior lights and the parts for the truck assemblies.

The windows are part of the roof assembly. You would have to find some sort of transfer to add people to the cars.
