The idea for me to start this topic came from Steve. I will get us started:
This shows much of my Plasticville little town on my recently built layout expansion.
Now it's your turn.

My layout is so long and narrow that I need to post several panoramic shots to show it all.
Here's another one:
And another section of My Little Town:

My layout is very new. I bought my first O gauge freight car April of last year, and this was just 3 scraps of plywood spliced together in the middle of June 2021. With a table this small the train is always chasing its tail, but I have a scenic divider down the middle so that if I sit on one side the train "disappears" for a few seconds. On the right side of the divider is Bulger County, Whereazona, and on the left side, it's Whaddle County, Whereazona. (Like my layout, the state of Whereazona is very small.)
This is the best I could find on the old layout.....6x16......I need to also look through prior years......I may have taken one from the stairwell.....
However, I do have one of where the new layout "is going".....

If anything, this topic tells me to take some more pictures. Only panorama shot I could find is from 3 years ago.
Many of these panoramic shots show that some of you folks have very impressive Model RR Empires.
Here’s an overview of my 5x9 foot “crummy basement” layout. I plan on adding a 5x10’ extension this winter.
Well, mine's just a 2-train, small, 88 sq. ft. layout. But it's been up and running for over 10 years now with no major problems.
It's sunrise, and the Flying Yankee is about to depart Eastvale. Yah, I know it's an English village... magic happens on my pike... I'll get panoramic shots soon!
Panoramic shot of the layout/train-room. It's not a big layout (only 6x10) but a lot of fun to run and work on.
Keep those trains running!
This is simple: Daughter moves out, train moves in. Yes it goes right around the bed!
I've just been doing this a couple years now, and consider myself to be in the "Proof of Concept" stage, meaning most of this is not screwed down, save for strategic spots. I'm modeling stuff that could be seen in New England. These shots are Pan Am/Guilford/MEC, but I have VT Railways, Rutland, B&M, New England Central and Providence-Worcester right on the shelf. I have a TON of work to do on lighting and scenery, but that's what retirement is for (coming soon to a geezer near you) .
That ridiculous grade out of the marble quarry actually works. I can MU and push-pull about 10 or more cars right up that grade, all with real rock from quarries in VT. I don't know the dimensions, but I've pretty much killed the space...LOL.
Someone should get permission and remake that old Marx bridge,
@Jeffery Boat : Love the lake, as a matter of interest, my wife's cousin, R. Albright, owned the Chris Craft dealership on the Susquehanna, River in Pequea, Pa up until the 60's when it was closed.
Now to my little layout. It is an unusual shape being only about 40" wide but 17 ' long...I call it the Leonardtown and Savannah, L&S (long and skinny). Two loops, outer one is 0-31 with a 5" extension at the apex of the curve and the inner one 0-27. 4 blocks, transformer control, all old fashioned Lionel sectional track. Size was determined by the space available since I share the room with other uses and bookcases used to display my trains.
Here is a couple of views...may or may not fit the defn of "panoramic" .
Overview
Here is a view of "Small Town". The flag and pole are Lionel from 1957 (complete with a 48 star flag).
Best wishes

I realize I posted a pic of a section that was sort of panoramic, but this video really does a better job of getting the whole layout but I guess it isn't really a panoramic "shot" lol.

Here is a good shot of the Passenger terminal area
Dennis: Great looking layout. Thanks for posting

Don, very cleaver use of a long narrow space. Love the wall of trains!
Keep those trains running!

Here's one where there was a realignment of the "farm area" curve. The Gargraves track had begun to deteriorate from the salt air after over 20 years by the coast and we replaced it with Atlas O-88/O-108. The track crew did a good job. The area to the right beyond the bridges (both levels) is being re-done as well.
This is my basement train room as it looked a couple years ago. The center table layout has been moved to my Florida train room and a (6 X 12) O & S gauge has been put in its place.

It is Dave - thank you.
The only issue I have is, after the last expansion (Warrenville Docks in front of the pic) I can only fit 6 or so guys down at one time.
Jeff Boat, thank you for the compliment. boomer - that is one wild layout, love that helix NJCJOE -beautiful layout and great train room. Soft spot in my heart for Central of NJ, was born and lived for many years in the heart of their urban and Manhattan operations. Hey..."how many camel backs you got !! "
Best wishes

A layout the size of mine, you can get almost all of it in one shot if you get high enough. The camera is touching the ceiling here:
I only had the DCCentral* down for a short time but I did have a lot of fun with it.
The motive power is the lead CTA subway car. I later added some more cars to that train so that there was less than an inch separating the the two ends. Unfortunately that video has been lost.
Note that this was replaced with a larger setup; Atlas O-72 with about 36" straights to form a rounded-corner square with a siding going down the hall (behind the camera). That was lifted after I got tired of tripping over the track and breaking it.
The siding down the hall:
The track against the wall is still there holding a few cars that have lost their boxes; or in one case does not have one.

Better panoramic pix of the the old layout (2011-2021), 6x16.....
The 1993-2003 layout.....14x26......hard to get in one picture.....
