Hi, I am in the process of rebuilding 12 K-Line heavyweight passenger cars to scale two rail standards. I have added scale two axle passenger trucks, Kadee couplers and scale passenger cars steps. I would like to added detailed interior seating and I am asking for help in suggestions on a clear window film to replace to frosted film that had the out lined black passenger silhouettes. Also any suggestions on a frosted film to be used on the non-detailed interiors. Thank You Bill Boise Idaho

Go to office max and get some transparency sheets. You can get them at the copy desk. I use em to as window glazing in everything. Cut it to size and glue it in with white glue
Hi, a big time thank you for your suggestions. Thank You and All the Best Bill Boise Idaho
12 passenger cars would be like 2 dozen packs to get enough to do all of them. Its cheaper and less fattening to get the acetate transparencies. Thats a really good idea tho
Blister packs are everywhere and you already paid for it once.
I like to use microscope slide cover slips. The look like real glass, because they are
Yes, once upon a time we used overhead transparency film - boxes and boxes of them and I think I still have a few boxes of them for use in ink jet printers.
Those should work - could cut them into strips and secure with reasonably ease. Probably could also Dull Coat them as well for the frosted film that you want, too.
