I haven’t opened a Lionel catalog in 10 years; but I just ordered a MR bipolar from Mario’s.
Did Lionel offer a passenger set for that engine?

These 7 beautifully detailed cars are a nice consist for the Bipolars.

Thanks Bob!
You could also do a freight with the Bi-Polar pulling a string of depressed center flats.

Trainz has a 4 pack of Williams MR passenger cars for sale on their website. 18 inchers but have silhouette windows.
Thanks Paul; but when I looked up bipolar I found an article that the bipolar was built exclusively for passenger service.
Thanks Bill I’ll take a look.
Bob - my post was a failed attempt at humor.
Hope you find your Passenger Cars - that is a good looking engine.

Now that's "Rail Humor"!
You don't say what Bi-polar you ordered, because Lionel has made a number of different MR ones, but you should look it up in the catalog at the Lionel website. (For example, they've made MR Bi-polars in both orange and in yellow and others in several different catalogs.) They often have passenger cars offered at the same time as the engines in their catalogs, and you should look at what was offered in the same catalog as the engine.
There are other cars that may work as well, but, depending on your color sensibilities, you may want to be concerned with color matching of the engines and the cars. There's almost no chance any manufacturer other than Lionel has made MR cars that will precisely match the colors of the Lionel MR Bi-polars. So if colors matching matters to you, you need to stick with Lionel cars.
Those Hiawatha cars shown above are nice, if they're the ones that will match your engine. Bear in mind, however, that they're pretty hard to find (and were offered 14 years ago), so it will probably take some time to find some, if that's what you decide on.
Try to find a set of Weaver 20" Hiawatha passenger cars. They are aluminum and beautiful.
I have the MTH Bi-Polar and use the MTH 18" grey roof streamlined cars. They really look great. I usually run 8 or 9 of them with the Bi-Polar. MTH also made the same cars with a black roof if you prefer that color scheme. MTH has the skytop observation and the full length dome car. The windows are generic not Milw Road specific but that does not bother me.

Isn't Sunset doing another run? If you spend $1200 for a loco, go with the best.
Thanks for all the responses and information. I scored a Weaver Set on the bay. I’ll post some pictures when the set arrives.

You scored the Beaver Tail set - congrats - I was looking at that set if it was from Strapecek.
That must be the Lionel version of the BiPolar my MTH BiPolar horn sounds like a chirp in comparison. Thanks for sharing the video.
Yes that was the seller. He reduced the price a bit.
