Paya Tin Station

I really like this as it would sit very well on many a British tinplate layout and like you I would spend some time and do a really good job of repainting it in the original colours - it will look stunning when its done.

Not the best of pictures, but I came across this on the web and from it you can see some surrounds that appear to have come with the model when new? I thought this might be of interest.

Here's a tantalizing glimpse at some of the other accessories Paya used to make for their railway range. Its thought this catalogue dates from the 1960's?

It has finally arrived. Here is a quick photo to give an idea of the size. A Marx clockwork set in front a  Lionel (MTH) Blue Streak behind it. A really nice fit size wise.

Just got the roof sections painted for this. A friend bead blasted them for me a few weeks ago. I will have to go dig the rest out of storage so I can proceed with the rest. Not a high priority project, but it will get there.

That is one beautiful example of tin art and lithography let alone an example of a station. Way cool.
