OK all these Christmas trains photo's has caused me to really "dig deep" for a response.  Here is the family ca.1947 around the tree outfit.  Following ...pd and pennsyfan...Christmas trees, snow, vehicles, and oh yes trains...In this case a Lionel PW PRR turbine , milk car, dump car, crane car, and work caboose with a searchlight.  Plus some of those cardboard "made in Japan" Christmas houses that were covered in "snow".  Sorry for the b&w, my Dad was a professional photographer (weddings, babies, etc) in those days and his camera of choice was the old Graflex press camera, never shot color.  At this time I am somewhere between 3 and 4 years old, so I can't take much credit for this layout.  In fact, I am sure that I was told..."Santa" put it up.

Best Wishes for Thanksgiving everyone

Well its a little hard to decide what I am trying to follow up so I will pick both...

First following WwWebFlyer's passenger cars...here are some additional tin plate passenger cars, these post war, circa 1946 with the Lionel #224 locomotive

Brown Tinplate Pass Cars 2

Next following Sitka's cattle cars, a 1950's vintage Hornby (UK) type 51 and a 50 series Hornby cattle car same vintage.

Hornby Cattle Car and Type 51 Engine

Best wishes to all
