Photos will not insert into post body

Did you click the little box which says "Insert all photos and videos into post body (large size)"

 

If you do not click that box, the files will only appear as attachments.

 

While you're at it, I would appreciate it if you updated your profile to include your REAL address. That is a requirement of membership for this forum. That fake information you have in there won't cut it for much longer.

Forgot about that... Old habit for trying to avoid spam and junk mail.

I did try the "Insert all photos and videos into post body (large size)" box. What was happening is the text gets highlighted but no actual check mark or x shows up in the box. Similar thing happens when I try it the other way.

That was with Opera browser. Just tried with Firefox and it worked just fine. So the issue must be with cookies or something in the browser settings. I'll explore that.

And for some reason the pic by my displayed name disappeared...I thought it was acceptable since it is a pic of me posing with the live C&TRR K-27 #463.

And I just took it back down. Your Avatar has to be a RECOGNIZABLE image of yourself. All we can see in your Avatar is a steam locomotive.
