Seeing the DeSantis thread reminded me of something, and perhaps there is another out there who can answer this.

In the 80s, channel 4 (WTAE) would run a Christmas ad that included a clip of of Standard Guage trains. Either someone told me, or it was mentioned on a broadcast, that the trains belonged to one of the news personalities. I am thinking either Pail Long, Joe DeNardo, or Don Cannon.

Does anyone else recall the commercial and/or the ownership?

Joe DiNardo was into trains so that would be my guess.
