My son has a Lionchief (pre bluetooth) Polar Express and the lead axles keeps derailing. I have studied the engine and every so often the vertical pin that guides the lead truck side to side get absolutely stuck.
Now I think I can take the engine apart and sand/file down the guide slot and the problem should go away, but I was wondering if any else had experienced something similar with their PE. I plan on performing a full lube job at the same time, this loco gets more miles than any other in the Zitrick fleet.
